Auburn, Ala.--Auburn secondary coach Travaris Robinson took on a tough task needing to rebuild a secondary that took its share of lumps a season ago. Getting Michigan transfer Blake Countess in during the summer was the first step in strengthening things on the back end of the defense, but adding true freshmen Carlton Davis, Javaris Davis and Jeremiah Dinson has added to the depth at the cornerback position as the Tigers work towards the season opener against Louisville on Sept. 5.
Robinson discusses the play of the cornerbacks as well as the depth at safety behind starters Tray Matthews and Rudy Ford in this video presentation.
A former Auburn player, Robinson returned to his alma mater after Will Muschamp was hired to be the defensive coordinator for Coach Gus Malzahn's team.
