Malzahn's Tigers Have Mini-Scrimmage

The Auburn football Tigers are making decisions on who will be ready to contribute in the opening game.

With two weeks left before the season football opener the Auburn football Tigers put on a very short scrimmage at Jordan-Hare Stadium featuring young players and backups.

Coach Gus Malzahn and his staff are trying to put the finishing touches on putting together their depth chart and playing rotations for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game on Sept. 5th at the Georgia Dome vs. Louisville.

After working out at the stadium the coaches changed their venue for part two of the Saturday session on a day scholarship donors were invited to campus. However, they did not get to see the part of practice that featured the likely starters and backups.

One of the veteran players continues to standout, who should be a key target for quarterback Jeremy Johnson this fall.
