The class of 2017 guard, who is rated four stars by Scout.com, toured Auburn’s facilities along with other recruits in for the day.
“We got to shoot and hang around with the Auburn players and that was fun,” he said. “I got to talk with Coach Pearl and Coach (Chuck) Person and I liked that, too. We learned a few things about Auburn so overall it was a great visit.”
The Sandy Creek High School standout, who is just 16 years old, notes that he is still growing. “I am six-foot-vie, 180 pounds now,”?he said.
This summer he has been busy honing his basketball skills. “I am working on everything,” he said. “I like defense so I am working on that. Of course, I like to shoot to so I am going to try to get that as perfect as I can. I want to finish at the rack and get stronger.”
“I have offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, UAB, Winthrop and Texas Tech,” he said, noting that Auburn is a college he is strongly considering. “Florida Gulf Coast, LSU, Xavier, Florida State, Kansas and a few more are interested,” Harden added.
