Sean White (above) is a redshirt sophomore for the Tigers.
Auburn, Ala.--Jeremy Johnson, who has been out of the starting lineup the past four games, could start on Saturday for the Auburn Tigers vs. Ole Miss with Sean White being less than full speed. White is considered a game-time decision on whether or not he will start.
White is bothered by a sore knee from a hit in last week's four-overtime game at Arkansas.
Johnson, who struggled with his passing in previous games this year, has five career starts for the Tigers.
Carl Lawson is a redshirt sophomore for the Tigers, who is considered the team's best pass rusher.
Carl Lawson , who suffered a hip injury in the opening game vs. Louisville, returned to practice this week. However, the redshirt sophomore “buck” may not play as the Tigers take on the Rebels at 11 a.m. CDT at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Like White, Lawson playing will be a game-time decision, according to team officials.
Auburn will take a 4-3 record into Jordan-Hare Stadium and is 2-2 in contests with White as the starting quarterback. Ole Miss, which is 3-1 in the SEC, has a 6-2 overall record.
