As many as a dozen football prospects could be on the Auburn campus for official visits during the Iron Bowl weekend.

Auburn will have a large group of official visitors for the Iron Bowl, including the nation's top defensive tackle prospect, Rashan Gary, and the top-ranked running back prospect in the country Kareem Walker (shown above) along with a large group of unofficial visitors.

Auburn, Ala.--The Iron Bowl takes place this weekend between Auburn and Alabama and with it comes perhaps the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for Gus Malzahn’s Auburn Tigers with as many as a dozen official visitors plus hundreds of prospects on unofficial visits expected to converge on Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday. Among them are the top defensive tackle and running back in the country as well as key prospects on both sides of the ball.

Here are the list of official visits for this weekend along with several top unofficial visitors for the Tigers:

John Broussard--A longtime Auburn commitment and four-star prospect out of Central High School in Phenix City, Broussard is a talented cover corner with the ability to come in and play early for the Tigers. An early graduate, Broussard has kept in contact with Mississippi State, but looks to be all Auburn as he gets ready to enroll in January.

Nick Coe--A visitor to Auburn over the summer and a top defensive line prospect, Coe is a physical player who has the size and explosion to play very early on the next level. The native of Asheboro, N.C., has the Tigers among his favorites along with North Carolina and Florida State with Auburn possibly the team to beat heading into the weekend.

Kyle Davis--Auburn’s newest commitment and one of the top wide receivers in the country, the 6-3, 217 Davis will be on campus just days after choosing the Tigers over Georgia and Tennessee. An early graduate, Davis will have a chance to play significant minutes very early in 2016.

Landon Dickerson--With help needed on the offensive line one of the expected visitors is an important one for the Tigers. Dickerson is rated as's No. 4 offensive guard in the country, but could easily play tackle on the next level. Already a visitor to Florida State and with potential trips to Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia Tech after the season, Dickerson is expected to take his recruiting into January before making a decision with Auburn definitely in the mix.

John Franklin--Another recent Auburn commitment, the junior college standout from East Mississippi Community College by way of Florida State should be another early contributor for the Tigers. Planning to enroll in January, the speedster should get a shot at quarterback, but could easily play wide receiver if needed because of his sub 4.4 speed.

Rashan Gary--The nation’s top-rated high school defensive tackle and five-star prospect, Gary is looking all over the SEC with Ole Miss and Alabama two of his other favorites along with Michigan. With immediate playing time available with the Tigers it should be a big weekend for Auburn to make an impression.

Zach McCloud--One of the top linebackers on Auburn’s recruiting board, McCloud recently backed off his commitment to Miami and that puts the Tigers squarely back in the hunt for the Santaluces High product.

Ahmmon Richards--One of the top high school football athletes in the country, the four-star Ahmmon from Wellington, Fla. ,High is a dynamic player capable of playing a number of different positions for the Tigers. Alabama is considered the leader for Richards at the moment, but he’s also expected to visit Miami and Tennessee as well. Richards was previously committed to the Hurricanes before the firing of Al Golden.

Ahmmon Ricards

Rahshaun Smith--Having already visited both the Gators and Tigers, this will be Auburn’s chance to showcase the program to Smith. A former Clemson commitment, Smith is a physical linebacker who is rated as a defensive end by One of the top players on Auburn’s board, Smith has a strong relationship with Muschamp and Travaris Robinson on the Auburn staff.

Donald Stewart--A teammate of Rashaan Gary at Paramus Catholic in New Jersey, Stewart is a big, physical wide receiver who has Stanford, Boston College, Ole Miss and others on his list. With Auburn already having three commitments at the wide receiver position Stewart is a player to watch for the final spot in this class at his position.
