The four-star defensive tackle from IMG Academy noted that his interest level would go up even more if the Tigers make him a scholarship offer.
“I?hope they offer because if they did I think they would be one of my top schools,” the 6-4, 290-pound class of 2018 prospect told Inside the Auburn Tigers.
“It was a good visit to Auburn,” he said. “I loved it.
“The coaches gave me some love,” said Vincent, who played at Gillman School in Towson, Md., last fall. “They said that at Auburn they’re just trying to build men.
“I visited the weight room, talked to coaches, equipment managers and I got to sit down one-on-one with the coaches,” he pointed out.
Vincent said he plans to make a return trip to Auburn this summer. Asked who is current leaders are, he said Ohio State, Texas A&M, UCLA and Georgia, all teams that have offered.
As he prepares for his junior year, Vincent said his focus is improving his technique. Asked what he sees as his best attributes on the football field, he said, “I am so violent off the ball. Also, my hands.”null
