Beaverton, Ore.--One of the nation's top offensive line prospects, four-star guard Nick Brahms, committed to the Auburn Tigers on Saturday over Miami, North Carolina and Tennessee. Becoming the third offensive line commitment in the 2017 class, joining five-star Calvin Ashley and four-star Austin Troxell, Brahms has been a standout so far at The Opening and should have a chance to be an early contributor on the Plains.
"He's a guy that comes off as nice, gentle with glasses, nice, and smart, which he is," Simmons said. "He's all those things, but he's nasty too. He loves to put guys on their back. He has a little fire in him, a little dog in him. He's a guy that wants to finish things. I really think he's a guard for Auburn long-term. I really think he can get to that second level. He can pull and he can get downfield. I think long-term he fits in very well at Auburn and their offense."
