2 Minute Drill: Auburn Survives Scare From Commodores

Auburn survived a scare from the Vanderbilt Commodores following a lackluster performance on both sides of the ball.

Auburn, Ala.--Despite outrushing Vanderbilt 271-120 on Saturday, the Auburn Tigers had to hold on for dear life thanks to injuries, penalties and struggles on both offense and defense. One of the worst offensive teams in the league and last throwing the football, Vanderbilt threw for 220 yards with quarterback Kyle Shurmur connecting on 24-38 attempts. Running back Kamryn Pettway led Auburn with 173 yards on the ground with a banged-up Sean White coming off the bench to complete 10-13 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in the second half.
