“It was my first visit to Auburn and it was a great one,” he said. “I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to coming back.”
A class of 2018 prospect from Landry-Walker High School, he has a scholarship offer from Auburn and numerous other college programs. He committed to LSU as a sophomore, but has reconsidered that and noted he does not have a leader.
Visiting for a junior day, Jason said he appreciated the invitation to make his first trip to Auburn. Something that got his attention is the coaching staff’s willingness to give major playing time to freshmen. “I didn’t expect that,” he said.
“I think I will come back,” Jason added. “I don’t know if it will be an unofficial or official visit. It is great place if I decide to choose them.”
Asked what his strength is as a football player, Jason said,?“The way I attack the football and go get it.”
Commenting on what he is working to improve for his senior season, he said, “My speed and route-running.”
