Auburn, Ala.--Auburn announced on Wednesday the Tigers will play a home football game in 2019 vs. the Kent State Golden Flashes.
The contest, scheduled for Sept. 14th at Jordan-Hare Stadium, will be the first time the Tigers have played that program from the Mid-American Conference. The Tigers are 6-0 all-time in games from the MAC with three games vs. Ball State, one vs. Arkon, one vs. Buffalo and one vs. Northern Illinois.
Other non-conference games for the 2019 season are scheduled on August 31st vs. Oregon in a game that will be played at Arlington, Tex., along with home contests vs. Tulane on Sept. 7th and Samford on Nov. 23rd.
Kent State finished with a 3-9 record in 2016 and was 2-6 in league games.
