Norcross, Ga.--Another football prospect the Tigers made progress with during Big Cat Weekend is Kyler McMichael, a talented cornerback who will be a senior this fall at Greater Atlanta Christian.
“Auburn is definitely a top school,” the four-star recruit said. "I loved everything they had to say. I was able to speak to them offensive-wise as well and I loved that. Clemson has been talking about it a lot, too.”
On Saturday’s visit to Auburn with his family McMichael said the coaches told him that if wants to give offense a shot in college he could get that opportunity as a slot receiver or running back.
The six-foot-one, 196-pounder said that Auburn, Clemson, Alabama and Florida State are the programs recruiting him the hardest.
“I had no idea of what Auburn was like at all,” he said, noting his knowledge of the program and campus has grown with each of his three visits, particularly with the Big Cat trip. “By getting up there and being able to interact with everybody, I?love it. I had a great time. My whole family and my sister had a great time.”

McMichael said he likes what he called a “spiritual environment” at Auburn and added, “It is not too far away from home and the campus is beautiful.”
Noting that he had planned to make a decision on his college choice prior to his senior season, that has changed. “I am probably going to hold off on that so I can get up to Auburn and spend a night on campus,” he said.
On Saturday he met with Gus Malzahn and noted the Auburn head coach asked the prospect what he wants to get out of his college experience, something the prospect said he appreciated.
McMichael also spent time with secondary coach Greg Brown. “He is a great guy, very sincere I just love everything he said,” the prospect said.
