ITV has confirmed that the following players will be making official visits to the University of Louisville over the coming weeks, with most occurring from mid-December through January. Melrose HS (Memphis, TN)
A big receiver/defensive back prospect, Armour plays wide receiver and corner in high school, but he would likely make the transition to safety on the next level with his size and speed. Has also scheduled a visit to Arkansas and has offers from the Cards and Hogs, as well as Memphis, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Mississippi State.
George W. Jenkins HS (Lakeland, FL)
Axson averaged an impressive 18 tackles per contest this season. He currently holds scholarship offers from Louisville, Connecticut, Kansas, Iowa State and Maryland. In addition to Louisville, he plans on making an official visit to Iowa State.
Early County HS (Blakely, GA)
Balkcom has great size and quickness and is a Georgia Hot 100 member. Recently gave a verbal commitment to Auburn, but told Inside theVille that he will still visit Louisville.
Joliet Catholic Academy (Joliet, IL)
Cardinal fans should know Buchanan well by now, as ITV first introduced Buchanan on March 31st and have frequently updated his recruiting status throughout the year. Buchanan, the younger brother of former Cardinal great Ray Buchanan, gave an early verbal commitment to Illinois, but continues to express high interest in the Louisville program and will make two more visits, one official and one unofficial, to the Belknap Campus. ITV believes Buchanan is a Louisville lean.
Fletcher HS (Neptune Beach, FL)
Burns has seen his stock rise throughout his senior season as he helps guide a defense for one of the top teams in his region. He also plays the tight end position, but hopes to stay at linebacker in college. He receiving interest from Central Florida, Florida State, South Florida, Georgia Tech and others.
Warner Robins HS, (Warner Robins, GA)
A member of the Georgia Hot 100, Butler also projects as a possible tight end at the college level. As of now, Louisville is the only scheduled official visit for Butler. The Cardinals are also the only program among his Top 5, which also consists of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn and Florida, to extend a scholarship offer.
Briarwood Christian School (Birmingham, AL)
A member of the South Hot 100 list, Castille will be making an official visit to U of L during December. He has already visited Virginia and will be tripping to Alabama in January. While many consider him an Alabama lean, Castille will take all of his official visits prior to making a decision. He is also considering Georgia, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and LSU.
Melrose HS (Memphis, TN)
A speedy scatback type of player that went for 1,348 yards and 19 touchdowns on only 147 carries as a junior. He has collected offers from Auburn, Kentucky and Louisville. Oklahoma and Tennessee round out his top five.
Eufaula HS (Eufaula, AL)
ITV introduced Louisville fans to Douglas on October 30, at which time he listed the Cardinals as his current favorite. Alabama, Auburn, Southern Miss and Mississippi are among the other programs that are expressing high interest in Douglas.
Bainbridge HS (Bainbridge, GA)
Gamble, who plays both running back and defensive back for Bainbridge High School, told ITV that he is being recruited by Louisville as a wide receiver. He was an All-Region and Southwest Georgia honorable mention honoree following his junior season and has rushed for more than 1,000 yards this season. His current Top 5 consists of Louisville, Marshall, Auburn, South Carolina and Mississippi.
St. Paul's Episcopal HS (Mobile, AL)
Jackson, a member of the Mobile Register Elite 18 Preseason Team, is drawing interest from a number of programs in addition to Louisville. Jackson is a 3-star prospect who is one of the top 2-way athletes in Alabama this season. Jackson excels at both cornerback and receiver and has the ability to play either way at the college level. He currently lists Louisville, LSU, South Carolina and Alabama, all of who have offered, as his leaders. He also has official visits scheduled for LSU and Alabama.
Tucker HS (Tucker, GA)
Lang, a member of both the Hot South 100 and Hot Georgia 100 teams, has collected offers from numerous schools including Louisville, Florida State, Maryland, Virginia and Arkansas. He currently favors Georgia, but has yet to receive a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs coaching staff.
Lovejoy HS (Lovejoy, GA)
Similar size to current Cardinal Brandon Johnson, Lomax possesses the great speed that the Louisville coaches have made a priority on both sides of the ball. He has already visited Virginia and will most likely visit South Carolina, Tennessee and NC State, as well as to Louisville.
Norcross HS (Norcross, GA)
Mapp, who made the transition from to tight end prior to his senior season, has the size and strength to play along either side of the line. He was named to the Gwinnett Daily Post Preseason All-County team.
Prattville HS (Prattville, AL)
McCall, a member of the Elite Mobile 18 team, lists the Cardinals, along with Clemson, Auburn and Alabama as his current favorites. He has official visits scheduled for both Clemson and Louisville, both in January.
Lake Region HS (Eagle Lake, FL)
Named among the state of Florida's top players prior to his senior season, Myles currently has two official visits scheduled, one to Louisville and the other to Auburn, both of who have offered scholarships. He also has an offer from South Florida and is receiving high interest from both Tennessee and Miami.
Nease HS (St. Augustine, FL)
Oakley established a new Jacksonville, Florida-area regular-season receiving record in his ninth game of the season with a 154 yard, seven reception performance. With one game remaining on the season, Oakley has a record 1,194 receiving yards, which eclipsed the previous mark of 1,125 set in 2001. He recently gave a verbal commitment to Alabama, but is expected to still visit Louisville.
Hiram HS (Hiram, GA)
Two-way athlete that is being recruiting for both sides of the ball. He plans on making official visits to Louisville, North Carolina and Vanderbilt. North Carolina and Kentucky have extended offers.
Glen Oaks HS (Canton, OH)
Smith, has offers from programs throughout the region including Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, NC State and South Carolina. Smith, who told ITV that U of L's new membership into the Big East would be a plus for the Cardinals, can play multiple positions, but will mostly likely project as a defensive tackle. It's no secret that if Ohio State offered Smith a scholarship that he'd commit to play for the Buckeyes, however, it's unsure if an offer will come his way from Columbus.
Fern Creek HS (Louisville)
Urrutia is one of the top prospects in Kentucky this season, as well as the South. He is a member of TheInsiders.com South Hot 100 and has drawn multiple offers. He recently told Inside theVille that he has narrowed his favorites to Louisville, Kentucky and Virginia. He has scheduled official visits with all of his favorites.
