A speedy wide receiver from Florida took an official visit to AU.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.--Wide receiver Kelvin Chandler from Dillard High took an official visit to Auburn, but did not commit to the Tigers, according to his mother.

"Kelvin said he had a nice visit and is considering Auburn," she told Inside the Auburn Tigers. The 6-2, 180-pounder was a two-year starter for Dillard.

"He has also been to Pitt, Iowa and Rutgers," says Dillard High coach Ken Scott. "He is a very good receiver with a lot of speed. He has good hands and is a 4.4 guy," Scott says.

"He won the our outstanding receiver award and he played in the Broward North-South All-Star game," adds Scott. "I know he is seriously considering Auburn."

Also joining Chandler on the visit was Dillard teammate Pat Sims, a 6-2, 290-pound defensive lineman.
