Hart Talks About Auburn Visit

Offensive lineman Leon Hart talks about his visit to Auburn and how the Tigers stand now.

Columbia, S.C.--One of the top offensive line prospects in the country took an official visit to Auburn this past weekend and says that his visit was everything he had hoped it would be. Big Leon Hart from Spring Valley High is one of the most sought-after players in the nation and says after his visit to Auburn he has a leader, but he's not saying who that is.

"I had a real great visit," the 6-5, 285 Hart tells Inside The Auburn Tigers. "I went down and had all my questions answered. I had a good time around the players and the coaches. I would have to rate the visit a 10. After my visit to Auburn I would say out of Auburn and Ohio State there is a leader, but I don't want to comment on that yet. I'm going to take a visit to South Carolina this coming up weekend and most likely I'll make my decision right after that visit."

Hosted by former high school teammate Travis Williams, Hart says that says that the visit went well in all areas and he is especially impressed by the atmosphere among the players and coaches. Hanging out with current Auburn players Marcus McNeill and Antarrious Williams as well as several prospects, he says he feels good about what's going on at Auburn.

" It was good to hang out with him again," Hart says of Williams. "I can't really think of one individual thing that stood out about the visit because I enjoyed the whole visit. I have to say the whole family atmosphere among the players and coaches was good. I feel like I really bonded.

"I had a chance to hang out with Calvin Booker, one of the guys who's committed," Hart says. "I had a chance to hang out with Willie Williams, who I played with in the game (Army All-Star Game in San Antonio). There were a lot of other recruits I got a chance to meet like Brad Lester."

A player that is serious about his academics, Hart says that he enjoyed getting a chance to tour the campus and see that side of life as well. "I had a great time touring the campus because I had never really got a chance to see the campus before when I just came to a game and a one-day camp."
