Georgia Defensive Back Signs With Tigers

This talented defensive back signed on the dotted line Wednesday and has a chance to see early playing time for the Tigers.

East Point, Ga.--Two-way standout Tristan Davis made it official that he will spend his college years on the Plains Wednesday as he signed his National Letter of Intent to play football for Auburn.

The 5-10, 186-pound cornerback prospect from Tri-Cities High, who also rushed for over 400 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior, was a standout at an Auburn Nike camp with a 4.5 40yard dash time and a 33.4 inch vertical leap.

Davis was named his team's MVP and defensive back MVP this season by racking up 58 solo tackles, intercepting four passes, forcing five fumbles, recovering two fumbles and breaking up 15 passes.

The speedy defensive back chose the Tigers over Mississippi State, Virginia and North Carolina.
