Spring 2004 Football Photo Gallery One

Scenes from Auburn's first spring football practice are featured in the first photo gallery of the spring.

Running back Ronnie Brown is back with a vengeance as a senior. Despite weighing in at 232 pounds he looked light on his feet and caught the ball well out of the backfield.

Former defensive end Kyle Derozan made the move to tight end this spring and looks like he's found a home. Sunday he caught the ball well and worked on learning his routes.

Defensive veterans Bret Eddins and Jay Ratliff will have the rare opportunity to play at the same time this season with Ratliff now at defensive tackle.

Linebacker Montavian Collier runs through footwork drills on Sunday as he gets a crash course on the position from Coach Joe Whitt. Collier was a safety in high school and only played football as a freshman and a senior.

Running back Carl Stewart looked very good and reminds many of a young Ronnie Brown. He should be a solid back-up this season along with Tre Smith to Brown and Carnell Williams.

After redshirting last season, Josh Thompson is finally ready to show what he can do on the football field. The noseguard is one of the strongest players on the team and should be solid behind starter Tommy Jackson and back-up Wayne Dickens.
