2004 SEC Baseball Standings Week Seven

The race for Hoover is getting tighter by the day as a weekend of sweeps in the SEC has made things very interesting with three weeks left in the conference regular season schedule.

The biggest move of the weekend was made by the Vanderbilt Commodores, whose three-game sweep of Mississippi State puts them squarely in position for postseason play heading into the homestretch of the season. On the outside looking in at the moment are three powerhouse teams in the SEC West in Auburn, Alabama and MSU. The three biggest draws to Hoover would be sorely missed by the league's front office if they're not at the Met later this month. The following are the up to date standings in the SEC:
