I'm still taking a look at everyone pretty much. I just want to be patient and make a good decision," Scott says. "I'm going to try and have it down to a top 8 by the end of the summer. I'll make my decision by late January."
Many times players find it hard to leave home when ultimately choosing a school, but that shouldn't be a factor with Scott. Listing Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Tennessee as his favorites at the moment with Michigan and Nebraska also in the picture, Scott says that he doesn't believe distance from home will play a part in his decision as much as his feelings about each school.
"I wouldn't mind going off and seeing some things outside of Georgia but I would like to be close enough to home so my family and relatives can watch me play. Academics is the number one thing. I also want to come in and contribute early within my freshman or sophomore seasons. I'll also look at campus environment and the facilities."
At 6-4, 315 pounds with the strength and quickness to play any position up front, Scott says that he'll be busy this summer trying to improve on several things heading into his senior year.
"I really want to get better with my footwork and be bigger, stronger and faster. Our summer workouts at the school start on Monday and we'll do that every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I have also talked with a personal trainer that works with my mom about my nutrition and other things."
