Big Athlete From New Orleans Offered By Tigers

This tall and talented football prospect is a player to watch as he heads into his senior season.

Selvish Capers is a good looking tight end prospect that has size and speed. It's no wonder why he picked up his first SEC offer last week after a passing camp.

"I got offered by Auburn," said Capers. "Bowling Green has offered me a scholarship, too. I'm going to LSU's three-day camp in July, and I'm also going to FSU's three-day camp in July. My top five right now is Georgia Tech, West Virginia, LSU, Auburn and UCLA."

The defending BCS champions and home state Tigers are always a team to watch out for, but what else does Capers like in his favorites?

Georgia Tech--"I want to major in computer engineering and design."

West Virginia--"They have my major, too, and I like the way they get the tight end involved with the offense.:

Auburn--"They are somewhat close to home, and I could come in and contribute early."

UCLA--"It would be a nice change of scenery, and I'm not afraid to get away from home and on my own."

Capers is sitting on two offers so far, but offers will continue to come as recruiters get to put an eye on the talented prospect from a loaded St. Augustine team.
