Georgia O-Lineman Has Three Offers and Favorites

This Peach State offensive line prospect lists Auburn among his early favorites.

Gage Crews is yet another quality offensive line prospect in what is proving to be a deep year for lineman in the Peach State.

He has already picked up three big time offers and he names a brand new set of leaders to go along with them.

"I have offers from LSU, Southern Mississippi and Wake Forest," Crews said. "My final four schools are LSU, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Auburn."

What stands out about each of his favorites?

LSU: "I went to their camp last Saturday and I just like the way their whole program is set up."

GT: "I like the school itself. It has great academics and they have a really good engineering program."

FSU: "It's very close to home and they have a pretty good team as well."

AU: "I like the academics there as well. They also have a good engineering program."

What is 6-3, 280-pound Crews looking for most in a school?

"I just want a place where I can get a great education and have a lot of opportunities after I leave," he explained.

How would Bainbridge High standout describe himself as a player?

"I feel like I'm well rounded as far as run and pass blocking goes," Crews noted. "I need to work on my speed and just overall being more coachable."

Might the big lineman make an early commitment?

"I really don't know if I'll decide to commit early or not," he said. "I'll probably end up taking all five of my visits."

Crews has only attended one camp so far this summer and that was at LSU. However, he plans to make camps at all three of his other favorites this summer as well.
