Linebacker From Miami Looking At Tigers

This prospect discusses his interest in Auburn and other teams that are recruiting him.

Miami, Fla.--Avery Vogt is a linebacker prospect from Coral Reef High who is starting to get a lot of attention. He now holds offers from FIU, Auburn, West Virginia, Rutgers, East Illinois, Duke, and UCF.

"My top five right now is West Virginia, Auburn, Florida, Miami and Duke," says Vogt. "I went to camp at Miami, Rutgers, and I'm going to Florida in July."

What does Vogt like about each of the schools on his list?

West Virginia--"They have a good football program. They have a coach there that used to be at USF, and we have a good relationship. They will definitely get a visit. We might get up there early before it turns cold."

Auburn--"I don't know much about the program, but the coaches have come by here and I've talked to them a lot so I'm interested in them."

Florida--"Coach Red (Anderson) and Coach Zook came by the school so I'm interested in them."

Miami--"They were my favorite team growing up. The coaches write a lot and called me in May."

Duke--"I talk to the coach at Duke a lot. They've talked to me about being a building block to get the ship righted."

Vogt already has some good offers to choose from and he is hoping to get more looks from the in state schools as well as the regional schools that have already offered.
