QB Prospect To Visit Auburn For Camp

An update is featured on a rising senior quarterback from Georgia.

Decatur, Ga.--Eric Ward of Southwest Dekalb has been working hard in the spring and summer and it is paying off.

Ward looked much thicker at the Fellowship Sports Camp, and his increase of muscle seems to have translated to a stronger arm. He was making throws over the weekend that he wasn't making earlier in the spring. He is hoping his hard work will pay off in a scholarship offer.

"I feel like Mississippi State will offer me," said Ward. "I had a good day at their senior camp. I'm going to Georgia Tech on July 10th, and I'm going to Auburn on July 17th."

Ward has already been to Vanderbilt for a camp as well. As the season grows nearer, Ward has gotten stronger, and that will help him earn looks from college coaches around the South.
