"All I can worry about is our football team and how we are going to do next season. I feel really confident about our receivers," Kilgore says.
Kilgore attended the camps offered by Alabama and Auburn. "I felt I did really good. I really enjoyed both camps. I did a lot better at Auburn. I felt really confident with my feet. I was accurate and I made some really great passes."
Kilgore was not as confident about his performance in Tuscaloosa. "I was accurate at Alabama but my arm was sore from the Auburn camp."
The coaches from Alabama and Auburn are keeping a close eye on Kilgore. "While at Auburn, Coach Tuberville told me he would be coming to see me this season. Coach Shula talked to me and told me that right now he is evaluating 18 quarterbacks and they can to sign only one or two."
Kilgore says he wants to stay in the state for college. "It's really between Alabama and Auburn, I really like both those schools a lot. I have been an Alabama fan my whole life. I have always grown up watching Alabama football, but once the recruiting process started, I want to be open. I love the tradition at Alabama, but I feel I have a better shot (to get a scholarship) at Auburn."
