Top 3 For Georgia Defensive End

Roderick Battle is a very talented defensive lineman from Douglass High School in Atlanta, Ga. He has received several scholarship offers from some of the top programs in the country, and he names three leaders among his favorites.

"I have offers from Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, Vanderbilt, and Duke," said Roderick Battle.

Although, Battle is considering all of the schools that have offered, he is naming a top three.

"I would have to say Georgia, Auburn, and Clemson are my top three."

Battle has tripped to a few summer camps and plans to hit a few more before school starts.

"I have been to Clemson, Auburn, and Alabama. I had a lot of fun at all of them. I would have to say that Auburn was the best. I am going to North Carolina on July 28th. I might make unofficial trips to Georgia and Vanderbilt," said Battle.

Battle was glad to have the opportunity to speak with some of the head coaches while attending camp.

"I spoke with Coach Bowden at Clemson. He is really cool. Clemson seems like they are headed in the right direction. I talked to Coach Tuberville at Auburn, and he was really laid back. I really liked Coach Shula a lot at Alabama. He is a young coach and easy to relate to."

A decision will come later for this star defensive player.

"More than likely I will wait until after the season. I might commit before but I will probably wait."
