South Hot 100 TE/OL Lists Top Four

This huge high school tight end, who is likely to be an offensive tackle prospect in college updates his favorites.

Germantown, TN.--Jeff Cottam is an outstanding tight end for Germantown High School that is a member of the South Hot 100 as an offensive tackle prospcet.

He has a huge frame and moves extremely well. He could get his first shot at tight end on the the college level, but with the demand on left tackles in college and the NFL, it would not be surprising at all to see him moved.

Cottam has attended one camp, and he updates his list of favorites.

"My Top 4 right now is Tennessee, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and Auburn," Cottam said. "My brother plays at Tennessee, and I like the facilities and the stadium.

"Ole Miss is real close to home, and I like the small town feel," the 6-7, 255-pounder adds. "I grew up watching Notre Dame a lot on TV, and I like their football tradition. I think I would have an opportunity to play early at Auburn, and I like their coaches a lot."

Tennessee looks to be the early leader for Cottam with the family connections, but he is playing it fairly close to the vest.
