The 6-3, 175-pounder said he will be looking at three colleges before he makes his decision.
"I am looking at Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia," he explained. "I haven't been to Georgia. I really want to check them out."
Billings added that he does have an early favorite.
"Auburn is my leader," he said. "I really like the campus and the coaching staff. I like the way they run their offense. I only went to Auburn's camp. It was alright. I won't be going to anymore camps."
The speedy receiver prospect said he plans to wait a little longer before he makes a decision.
"I am going to wait until after the year is over," Billings noted. "I really don't know what I will be basing my college decision on."
Billings will get back to work when Pelham High School begins fall practice the first week of August. Then, prior to the season opener against Pinson Valley they will play a spring jamboree game versus Hueytown.
