Wide Receiver Prospect Likes Tigers

This football prospect comments on the Tigers and other colleges on his favorites list.

Columbus, Ga.--Courtland Fuller is a good looking wide receiver out of Kendrick High School. He's still hunting down that first scholarship offer, but Fuller expects that to change soon.

Commenting on his top five favorites, he says, "I like Auburn, South Carolina, Maryland, Florida and Ole Miss. I don't have a leader yet."

These are his comments on each of those colleges.

Auburn: "They had a lot of competition at their camp and the coaches really teach you what to do."

South Carolina: "I like the coaching staff over there and how they showed me the correct technique. They also seemed to be really interested in me which made me feel good."

Maryland: "Their coach came to my school and told me good things about Maryland. I liked what he said."

Florida: "I talked to their coach on the phone and he was telling me about some places down in Florida. It seemed like a good place."

Ole Miss: "Their coach said he really needed me bad and they wanted me to come to camp, but I couldn't make it."

What is most important to Fuller in choosing a college? "Sports program, academics and overall environment are the most important things," he says.

As he prepares for his senior season, he has several goals. "I want to get to the playoffs and compete for the state title," Fuller says. "I'd also like to earn a scholarship from the SEC or ACC."
