Defensive Line Prospect Has Tigers Among Favorites

A prospect from Georgia updates his football recruiting status.

Atlanta, Ga.--Quenton Wesley is a 6-4, 230 defensive line prospect from Crim High School who has been offered scholarships by five colleges.

"I have offers from Tulane, Mississippi State, North Carolina, UT-Chattanooga and Akron," Wesley says. "My favorite teams right now are North Carolina, Oklahoma, Auburn, Mississippi State and Miami."

Commenting on what stands out about each of his leaders, Wesley says:

North Carolina: "I just like the overall staff and they were on me early, which just makes me want to check them out more."

Oklahoma: "It's a dream school with all their success and NFL players. I think they are real close to offering me."

Auburn: "I went to their camp and I liked the facilities and the coaches there."

Mississippi State: "They hopped on me early and they have produced some good players, and there are good players there now."

Miami: "I'd say they produce atleast three NFL players each year and that's where I want to get to."

When choosing a college, Wesley says he will consider several factors. "I'm looking at the social aspects and the society of the school itself," he says. "I'm also checking out academics and the overall athletic program."

The lineman has been active on the camp circuit. "I've been to Auburn, Mississippi State, Clemson, Georgia and I'm going to North Carolina this weekend," he says.
