Auburn One Of the Favorites Of Florida Prep Star

This rising high school senior football prospect discusses his interest in the Tigers and other colleges.

Pompano Beach, Fla.--Michael Holton has been to two camps and he received an offer from each school. Not coincidentally, those two schools currently look like the teams to beat.

"I've been to Florida and Auburn for camps," said Holton, who plays tight end for Ely High School. "I've gotten offers from them and UCF. My top five right now is Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Clemson and UCF."

What about each school has gotten them into his top five?

Auburn--"I like the coaching staff and the facilities, and I like talking with Coach (Hugh) Nall."

Florida--"They have awesome facilities, and they were kind of my favorite team growing up."

Georgia--"Rodney Garner came to see me in May, and I really enjoyed talking with him."

Clemson--"I like talking with Coach Burns. He came to see me in May, too."

UCF--"There is an opportunity there for early playing time, and it's also very close to home."

Holton, who is 6-4, 220, has three offers, but look for that number to grow dramatically as he works through his senior year.
