New Orleans Defender Enjoys AU Experience

This standout defender from New Orleans talks about his experience at Auburn's recent camp and names his top five.

New Orleans, La.--Patrick Trahan is an impressive athlete from a loaded St. Augustine team in New Orleans, La., who most recently camped at Auburn.

The 6-2, 205-pound defender has several very good offers and he updates his Top five.

"I enjoyed the camp at Auburn," Trahan said. "Before the camp started, I got to meet with Coach Knox and Coach Chizik. I had to leave right after the camp was over, so I didn't get a chance to talk with Coach Tuberville.

"I'm going to LSU for a camp again this weekend," he adds. "My favorites are probably Auburn, LSU, West Virginia, Indiana, and UCLA."

What does the Saint Augstine High standout like about each of his favorite teams?

Auburn - They are consistently in the Top 5 in defense every year.

LSU - I grew up in Baton Rouge. I like the way they make you feel like family.

West Virginia - They are an up and coming program, and Coach Trickett is really recruiting me hard.

Indiana - I used to go to Gerry Dinardo's camp when he was at LSU, and I know a lot of the coaches up there from past camps.

UCLA - They would give me the opportunity to get away from home.
