Defensive End Prospect Feels No Pressure In AU

This South Hot 100 defensive end talks about his summer schedule and his recent trip north to camp at Auburn.

New Orleans, La.--Alonzo Horton is one of the most impressive big athletes in the south this year.

He made the South Hot 100 list as a defensive end and he was a standout at Auburn's camp last weekend.

What did the 6-2, 209-pound defensive end from Abramson, Marion Senoir High think about his camp experience on the Plains?

"I got to meet with Coach Knox and Coach Price about how I would fit in with the scheme," Horton noted. "I also got to meet Coach Tuberville. They didn't pressure me at all about committing."

Horton also notes that he attend one other camp during the summer. "I also went to a camp at LSU in June."

The defensive standout, who led his state in sacks as a junior is reluctant to name favorites, but he has picked up new offers from South Carolina, Bowling Green, Indiana, and Tennessee.

The recruiting storm may have caught Horton a bit by surprise and now he will sit back and take in all of his options before making a decision.
