"They cancelled it," Barber said of his scheduled trip to Auburn. "The weather was supposed to be bad. I don't know when I will reschedule it."
Barber also stated he was supposed to take an official visit to Florida State this coming weekend but that is now in jeopardy as well. "I might have to cancel that too," Barber said. "I am supposed to take an SAT prep class this weekend. I have to see what I have to do. I might not be able to go."
Also looking at several other schools including Kentucky, Georgia and Florida, Barber has become a hot commodity for several schools because of his combination of size and athleticism. With the ability to play on the perimeter and in the paint, Barber is one of the top un-signed players remaining in the South for the 2005 year.
Korvotney, who sat out the summer due to a broken arm, also has Alabama on his list. "I don't know if I will visit there," he said. "I don't have a date yet."
A three-year starter, Barber averaged 14 points per game as a junior with his best game coming against Tri-Cities when he recorded a triple-double.
