"Quite a few coaches have called," McClellan says. "USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, and Florida State. All those schools have offered me. I am considering all those schools. Schools like Alabama and Auburn are saying I can play defense. That is what I played in high school, so I like that."
The 6-4, 220-pound receiver has not attended any college games as of yet, but plans to soon.
Before a decision is made, McClellan says he will be looking at a few aspects. "I want to be able to go play and win," he explains. "I want to go to a program I will have a chance to play for a national championship. I probably will have a decision made by the end of the season.
"I am trying to get out of here," he adds about Coahoma Community College. "I know I will have to come back next semester to take one class. I will not be able to graduate until next semester"
As a freshman, McClellan, had 48 catches for 1,297 yards and 14 touchdowns, and he is off to another great year, but his team is struggling.
"It has been rough for our team this year," he says. "We are still going to go out and play hard tomorrow night against Itawamba. I have been having a good year. I am averaging about 124 yards receiving and I have scored five touchdowns."
