Louisiana Athlete Likes Tigers Among Others

The athletic high school quarterback, who will play either receiver or defensive back in college, likes Auburn and other SEC schools.

Lafayette, La.--Lucas Taylor is one of the top athletes in the south. He plays quarterback for his Carencro team, but he will transition to defensive back or wide receive on the college level. He has picked up several good offers and is on the verge of more.

"I have offers from Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Indiana, and Auburn right now," Taylor says. "Florida was the first school to call me. Coach Zaunbreaker called me from Florida at 6:00 AM on September 1st. I also heard from Auburn, USC, Tennessee, and Mississippi State this month."

Has Taylor changed his favorites?

"My top three right now is LSU, Oklahoma State, and USC," he notes. "I also like Florida and Auburn. I haven't set up any official visits yet, but Oklahoma State, Auburn, and Florida will definitely get visits."

Taylor has helped lead his team to a 2-1 record thus far, and he had 220 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in a 31-18 victory over Westgate.
