Lineman From Atlanta Interested In Tigers

This football prospect comments on his interest in Auburn and other colleges.

Atlanta, Ga.-Jason Hill is a big lineman out of Douglass High School who can't help but get attention.

His size, 6-5, 255 pounds has attracted attention. It also doesn't hurt that he is surround with Division I prospects on his team.

A pair of colleges made earlier scholarship offers to the lineman. "I still have two (North Carolina and Duke) written offers," Hill says.

"A lot of other schools are recruiting me, but Auburn and Kentucky are showing the most attention. They send handwritten letters all the time and have called quite a few times lately."

Who is Hill's top three? "Auburn, Duke and North Carolina are my top three," he says.

When could Hill have a decision? "I am looking at sometime in October if all things stay the same. I am really anticipating both Auburn and Kentucky to offer when saying October. That time could change if I picked up a few more offers between now and then though."

What unofficial visits has Hill been on? "I took one to South Carolina for their game against Georgia. I had a good time there. I am going to North Carolina when they host Miami on October 30th. That is the only one I have set for now. I don't have any officials set at this time, but I will set those up here soon."

Hill has played mostly offensive tackle for Douglas throughout his career and has grade out around 93 so far this year. Oddly though, all schools are recruiting Hill as a defensive end right now. Hill plays a little defensive end for Douglass behind Brandon Sesay and Roderick Battle. I guess we can see why Hill plays on the OL at Douglas.

Hill projects as a full qualifier with a 3.6 GPA.
