Tigers Make Big Impression on Florida DB

Walter McFadden is without a doubt one of the best athletes in the state of Florida and the lighting quick star names an all new out of state leader.

"Auburn, Indiana, Michigan State and Florida are my top 4. Florida, Auburn and Michigan State have offered me. Auburn is my leader right now," Walter McFadden said.

What stands out about those 4 schools?

Auburn: "I love the team. It's a family just like my high school team is."

Indiana: "I really don't know much, but the way Coach Douglass talks to me about it sounds good."

Michigan State: "I've never seen snow, so I'd love to go up there and check it out. I love the hell out the football."

Florida: "It's a real good school and it's instate. I like the coaches there."

Walter's official visit to Auburn this past weekend contributed greatly to the Tigers new foothold at the top of his list.

"I was at Auburn for the Arkansas game. I loved the town the most of all. When I went there for camp, it was almost like it was evacuated, but yesterday it was just packed. There was thousands of people just everywhere. I called some folks back home and told them it was like a vacation place almost. I had a real good time."

Who did Walter spend the most time with, and what did he like best about the visit?

"Carlos Rogers was my host. He was real with me and told me everything I want to know. He told me about the coaches and what I should do and what not to do if I go there. It was a definite 10. I absolutely loved every minute every minute of the whole thing. I thought about committing real hard, but I have 4 other visits that I need to make before I can decide."

When will Walter set up his other official visits?

"My coaches are setting up Michigan State real soon, so I can see them during a football weekend. I'll go to Indiana soon also and I'll probably scheduled Florida for after the season sometime."
