2 Way Standout Down to Two Teams

Stephen Gowland is one of the better two way standouts in the south and the Lilburn, Georgia resident has narrowed his down to just two schools with one having a slight advantage at this point.

"I'm really liking Auburn a lot right now and they are my favorite. I'm also considering Ole Miss as well," Stephen Gowland said.

Gowland visited the Plains this past weekend, and it only solidified his prior feelings for the Tigers.

"I liked everything about the visit. You name it and it was great. It was my favorite camp this summer, my favorite facilities, and when I went to my first game I didn't even make it to Jordan-Hare before I was just feeling it. I stepped out of the car and I just liked everything about it."

What has kept the Ole Miss Rebels in contention with Gowland?

"They have a brand new practice facility that's just awesome. It has a 100 yard indoor facility and new offices, new meeting rooms and all that. I went over there for the Auburn game and it was really nice."

What is he looking for most in a school?

"Just, you know when I take my official visits I'm looking for a place where the players all get along and the players all like the coaches. I don't want a place where there's cliques here and groups there."

Parkview is looking to regain their reign over Georgia High School football after coming up just short a year ago.

"Were still playing our season and we have Houston County at home this week in the 3rd round. I have 12 catches on the year for about 200yds and 3 touchdowns."

Gowland is Parkview's leading tackler on defense from his end position, and that's where he might find himself playing on the next level as well.
