"I am a heavy lean to Auburn," said Ahmad Mayo. "I took a visit there to see the Georgia game, and it was amazing man. The atmosphere, the crowd, the team and all that was just crazy. I got to talk to Coach Nall and Coach Dunn too which was nice."
How close is Mayo to making a commitment?
"I am pretty close. It was on the tip of my tongue when I was at Auburn,
but I know I need to at least take a visit or two first."
Who will he visit other than the Tigers?
"I know I will visit South Carolina (offer) and possibly Ole Miss. Ole Miss
has really been on me hard lately, and they really want me to come out and
visit, so I am thinking about it."
Mayo is in the middle of helping lead the Griffin Bears through the Georgia AAAA
playoffs. In rounds one and two, he has rushed for 268 yards and seven
touchdowns. Mayo will lead the Bears up against an undefeated Salem team this
