Louisiana DE Expected To Announce For Tigers

The update has a report on a prospect who visited Auburn this weekend.

Morganza, La.--Auburn needs defensive ends and the Tigers are expected to sign on Feb. 6th one from the state of Louisiana--6-4, 225-pound Kyle Derozan.

A senior from Pointe Coupe Catholic High School, he was one of 16 prospects in for an official visit this weekend for the first round of January official visits.

His mother said on Sunday night that the family will have an announcement locally on his college choice, which is expected to be Auburn. She declined to say that he was coming to Auburn, but did say he was not planning any additional visits.

A player who is known for his ability to rush the quarterback (20 sacks as a senior), he is expected to bolster the Tigers at a position short in numbers with three seniors graduating, including both starters, James Callier and Javor Mills.

An honor student and three-sport star, Derozan says he has also been considering Missouri, Southern Miss and Grambling, which is located near his hometown.
