"I give it a 10," he says. "I really enjoyed it. They showed me some very nice Southern hospitality and I really enjoyed myself."
The 6-7, 260-pound lineman with a huge frame is being recruited by running backs coach Eddie Gran and was hosted during his visit by a player with the same physical build. "Marcus McNeill was my player host and he showed me a really good time," Codrington says. "He's a really good person and I felt I could bond with him."
Also atop Codrington's leaderboard are Florida State and North Carolina State with Florida and West Virginia receiving interest as well. He took a visit to Raleigh, N.C., on Dec. 10 and has official visits schedule with the other three schools in January.
After his visit to check out the Wolfpack, Codrington said that they were his leader. However, after visiting Auburn this weekend everything he says that everything is open again. "I'm going to wait to take all of my visits before I start naming leaders," he says.
Codrington is playing basketball for South Miami and lifting weights to stay in shape during the off season. He also notes that he has a qualifying test score on the SAT (920) and a 2.5 grade point average.
