2004 AL HS Junior All-Star Game Photo Gallery

Photos from the 2004 Alabama High School Junior All-Star Game featuring some of the top junior football players in the state are included.

South Team All-Stars 6-3, 240 defensive end Raven Gray from Entreprise High School(right), 6-2, 200 safety J.D. Douglas from Pratville (far right) and 6-1, 200 linebacker Byron Powell from Carver-Montgomery (left) team up to bring down North All-Star Donald Williams, a 5-11 200 running back from Tuscaloosa County High.

Homewood offensive lineman David Ross 6-3, 275, who is one of the top prospects in the state for the class of 2006, and 6-4, 200 Central-Phenix City quarterback Earl Alexander, who has plenty of size and speed to play at some position on the next level, get ready for a snap.

North All-Star 6-4, 315 Andre Smith Jr. from Huffman High, who may be the most physical offensive lineman to play in the state of Alabama in years, manhandles big defensive end Raven Gray 10 yards down the field on a running play.

Six-foot-five, 260-pound defensive tackle Bart Eddins, who is the younger brother of Auburn senior defensive end Bret Eddins, takes on Andre Smith in a battle of the titans at the line of scrimmage. The two players, who may be the two top prospects in the state for the class of 2006, each got the best of one another on seperate occasions during the game.

Eddins looks on as his offensive teammates make a one last drive late in the fourth quarter to try and win the game for the South team. Unfortunately for Eddins' team that drive fell short and the North All-Stars won 7-3 in a defensive showdown.
