He visited Raleigh this weekend to check out the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
"It was a good visit," he says. "There are lot of people at the school from near my hometown. I think they have 30-something players from Florida so there are a lot of guys there that I can relate to.
"It is a little bit like home," he adds. "It is not Fort Lauderdale, but it is real good. The facilities are nice."
The 6-1, 175-pound wideout was a virtually unknown recruit prior to transferring to St. Thomas Aquinas, where he had a strong season. He has already visited Auburn and Mississippi State and plans to be in Tallahassee next weekend to check out the Florida State Seminoles.
"After I take my visit to Florida State, I can probably name a top three," says Goodman, who notes that he is definitely interested in Auburn, where he took his first official visit.
He caught 40 passes for 501 yards and seven receiving touchdowns this past season and as a returner he had nearly 700 total yards and three touchdowns, including an 89-yard kickoff return for a score.
