Defensive Prospect Keeping Colleges Waiting

A football recruiting update is featured on a prospect who is still considering his options.

Prattville, Ala.--Defensive end Bobby Greenwood, who has narrowed his choice to three schools, is still not ready to announce where he will play college football.

Officials at Prattville High said on Friday that the Class 6A Lineman of the Year is not ready to announce his college choice and may wait until Wednesday to make that known.

Greenwood, who is 6-6, 248 pounds, took an official visit to Auburn last weekend. He says the Tigers made major strides on his favorites list and pulled even with FSU and Alabama. He says the visit was a "great" and put the Tigers seriously in the picture.

Defensive end Bobby Greenwood is considered the top uncommitted prospect remaining in the state of Alabama.

Greenwood and his family had an in-home visit on Thursday night from Auburn assistant coaches. Head coach Tommy Tuberville, who is allowed just one in-home visit, made one to see Greenwood earlier this month.

Greenwood helped Prattville High reach the finals of the Class 6A state championship where the Lions fell to Hoover.
