Marks was one of 17 recruits to take their official visits to Auburn Jan. 14-15. Like many of the recruits who were in town that weekend, Marks was impressed with what the Tigers had to offer. He made his commitment to the Tigers shortly after that trip.
Marks (6-2, 265), who is expected to play the three-technique (defensive tackle) position for Auburn, is one of three prospects from the Mobile area expected to sign with the Tigers Wednesday. Marks had 81 tackles and 17 quarterback sacks as a senior.
He is also an outstanding player in basketball.
