Another Top In-State Prospect Signs With Auburn

Auburn added to its impressive linebacker class with a signee from Birmingham.

Birmingham, Ala.--One of an impressive group of athletic linebackers expected to enroll at Auburn this fall, Rex Sharpe has signed and delivered his fax to become a Tiger.

Sharpe played linebacker and receiver for Fairfield High School in Birmingham. He should fit in well under the coaching of Joe Whitt as a quality athlete at the linebacker position.
