Cornerback Anthony Campbell goes up high to bat away a pass intended for wide receiver Maurice Anderson. Anderson, a walk-on, is the nephew of former Tiger star and NFL All-Pro offensive lineman Willie Anderson.

Carl Stewart has come on strong for the Tigers this spring. The tailback from Maryville, Tenn., High played in A-Day despite being slowed with a hip pointer and bruised ribs.

Tre Smith gets blasted by defensive lineman Tez Doolittle. Doolittle has played more consistently with both Tommy Jackson and Josh Thompson out with injuries. Smith, a junior, is the No. 1 tailback.

Courtney Harden has moved to strongside linebacker this spring and looks like he'll be a physical player for the Tigers down the road. The young linebackers are getting lots of action this spring with the three starters out with injuries.

Lorenzo Ferguson blankets receiver Jamoga Ramsey during Saturday's A-Day game. New secondary coach and defensive coordinator David Gibbs is playing Ferguson at cornerback, although he has also seen action at safety.
