Noles Showing Interest in GA OL

For the class of 2006, the Seminoles will be looking to sign at least six offensive line prospects. The Seminole coaching staff is showing a lot of interest in a 6-foot-6 and 265 pound tackle from Leesburg (GA) Lee County.

Offensive tackle Ryan Broadhead's stock is on the rise. Several big-time programs are showing him a lot of interest, including Florida State, Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Southern Miss.

"I feel like my strength is pass-blocking," Brodhead said. "My high school runs a Texas Tech type offensive so I'm pretty good at picking up defensive players."

Broadhead has posted some outstanding testing numbers. His 40-yard dash time is an impressive 4.95 seconds to go along with a 4.55 shuttle time. He also can bench-press 315 pounds and he has a vertical jump of 28 inches.

Broadhead already has three offers in Eastern Kentucky, UAB and Troy State.

"My top five schools are Florida State, Auburn, Alabama, Vanderbilt and Southern Miss," he said. "The schools that standout to me the most are Auburn and Florida State because they are close to home and they are both showing the most interest."

How much interest are the Noles showing?

"Florida State asked if I was interest in leaving high school early and enrolling mid- term," he said. "I checked with my guidance counselor and she said I'm on track to do that."

This summer, Broadhead will attend several football camps, including Florida State, Alabama and Auburn.
