Tigers Lead Preseason Coaches All-SEC First Team

Birmingham, Ala.--Defending league champion Auburn has a league-high six players who have been named to the Preseason Coaches All-SEC Football Team.

Auburn has 11 total players named to the all-league teams. Florida has the most with a dozen and the Gators' divisional rival Tennesssee is next with 10.

Middle linebacker Travis Williams, an All-SEC pick last year as a junior, is on the first team along with junior wide receiver Courtney Taylor, sophomore defensive end Stanley McClover, junior kicker John Vaughn and junior punter Kody Bliss.

Linebackers Williams and Williams celebrate an Auburn victgory--Antarrious (left) is coming back from a late-season injury and Travis (right) is a first-team pick.

Second team selections for the Tigers include senior tight end Cooper Wallace and senior wide receiver Ben Obomanu along with senior linebacker Antarrious Williams.

Sophomore defensive end Quentin Groves is a third team selection and junior tailback Tre smith is a third team pick on special teams as a punt returner.

Auburn is the defending league champion after posting a 13-0 record. "I don't care what the preseason predictions are this year, we are going to be strong again," Travis Williams says.
