Construction crews are working on the South (shown above) and North end zone concourses this summer. The work is scheduled to be done in time for the Sept. 3rd season opener vs. Georgia Tech.
The West concourse (shown above) won't be remodeled until next summer when it is updated at the same time the East concourse is done.
Part of the remodeling project includes rebuilding the concession stands in the South end zone.
Female fans will have upgraded restroom facilities in the South and North end zones this season. More upgrades will be done next summer on the East and West sides. This South end zone restroom has 30 stalls which should help alleviate overcrowding, which has been a problem for women for years. The men's restrooms are also being remodeled.
The chain link fencing in the South end zone is being replaced by a wrought iron fence in the same style as the Tiger Walk Plaza. The view is from the South concourse looking toward Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.
