Auburn commitment Neil Caudle returned to game action for the first time since injuring a knee last season against Hoover. Despite his team falling behind 21-0 early, Caudle kept his composure and made plays to lead his team to the victory.
Caudle showed the ability to both run and pass against the Tigers Friday night. He completed 13-25 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns while also running the ball nine times for 50 yards and a score. He also showed he could take a lick as he was drilled on the sidelines one play before completing a touchdown pass.
Running back Candler Nall, the son of Auburn offensive line coach Hugh Nall, is a tough runner that is used mainly for short yardage situations for the Tigers.
Auburn quarterback Dominique Reese (5-10, 175) takes the option keeper and turns the corner. Reese is a very athletic player who could get some looks down the road as a defensive back or wide receiver. Friday night he had 91 yards passing on 12-17 and also added 114 yards rushing and three touchdowns.
Fans wanting to see Caudle in action can do just that on Friday, Sept. 16 as Spain Park's game against Hoover will be televised live by Comcast Sports Southeast beginning at 7 p.m.
